“Great selection of fresh sushi with reasonable price. I’ve had yellow scallion rolls, salmon avocado rolls, salmon bowl, and chirashi bowl. I don’t find many places that sell chirashi bowl, highly recommend it. Though chirashi is on the pricier side, they use uni (sea urchin), a premium ingredient, while the salmon don is topped with ikura (salmon roe). The taste and the fish quality totally justified the price. They have two tables outdoor and a bench under the tree. Location is convenient and very close to Hunter’s Point Park. The employees are friendly and gave you informations, their food is always refilled because they have their own kitchen. Wasabi is not included so make sure to ask at the register.”

“A very interesting little shop, with a lot of asian snacks and some affordable goodies. We got the sushi but it was super fishy so not my taste but I am sure it is more authentic than other places. I saw a melon for $100! Matcha for like $25. And some ramen noodle packs for closer to $5. We got a green bean paste mochi for like $2.50 and it was great. The customer service was great.”

“Absolutely yummy & fresh sushi. 😋
They made me a special order for a party, and each and every guest enjoyed everything. 21 rolls polished off it no time. MogMog is the spot for fresh, easy, tasty sushi! And the staff are amazing, and the shop is so kawaii

“ALL the sushi and rice bowls were delicious and very fresh. The uni was perfect as well as the Ikura. I could tell the Ikura was high quality, beautiful in color and almost clear. The white peach fruit bar from the frozen section was phenomenal, tasted like I was eating a fresh white tea. The salmon rice ball was delicious. The food was definitely worth the price.”

“This Japanese grocery store in Long Island City has an amazing selection. They carry items that are hard to find in other Japanese supermarkets in New York, including specialty salts and regional ingredients. They also have a wide variety of bento boxes, fresh ingredients, and desserts, all of which are really delicious.

Parking can be a bit tricky, and some items don’t have price tags, so it’s not always clear how much things cost. Prices can be a little higher, especially for specialty products, but the quality and selection make it worth it.

Overall, it’s a fantastic store, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for authentic Japanese ingredients.”
